The annual Rugby Interfaith Forum took place in the town centre on Sunday (15 Sept).
Mayor Bill Lewis joined members of the public for a walk around several of the faith groups in Rugby.
Participants gathered at the Peace Tree next to the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, where a member of the Baha’I faith introduced this year’s theme of Faith in Action – specifically social and environmental actions undertaken in the local community.
The walk then continued to the Christian church of St Andrew’s in Church Street, the Hindu Temple Shree Kalyan Mandal in Kimberley Road, and the Sikh Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Craven Road.
At each faith centre. a description was given of that community’s approach to the theme set against the a background of readings and prayers drawn from the faith.
The walk ended with refreshments offered by the Sikh community at the Gurwara.
Many thanks to all the people who supported this event and made it such a great success.
