Rugby Interfaith Forum holds monthly discussion meetings and each year a peace walk and public meeting.
The Peace Walk
About a hundred people took part in a walk through Rugby on that first event in 2001 and visited some of the places of worship of the faith communities. We have repeated this Peace Walk most years and plan to continue this tradition in the future. Starting at the Peace Tree we visit typically a Christian church, the Hindu Temple, the Sikh Gurdwara and the Mosque.
We also discussed some of the significant moral issues that confront us such as world poverty, alcohol, climate change and abortion. 2017 discussion topics included refugees, the environment, war and mysticism.

RIFF Discussion Meeting - Faith Perspectives on Climate Change - Part 1
This discussion meeting is part of RIFF's preparation to support a Rugby schools event that Coventry and Warwickshire SACRE , in conjunction with RIFF, is planning. The schools event will explore the role of religion and world views in addressing climate change and care for the environment and will take place in June.
Over the next three RIFF discussion meetings we will be exploring how our individual faiths help to motivate us to protect the environment and address climate change.
Please come along and share your insights on this truly existential topic. Each session will be led by one of the RIFF Steering Committee using the short briefing documents that have been prepared to support the schools participating in the schools event.
